Went to the private view of Dave Brown’s exhibition and book launch last night (See previous post).
A great evening as usual, when the crowds gather in Store Street. Unusually for a private view however, people seemed to have come to see the stuff on the walls…
Tim Benson has given him space to really show off what is a most impressive body of work. Not only is there a lot of it, but the craftsmanship is stunning.
Many will have seen a lot of Dave’s originals before of course, and be aware of his talent, but because he’s had this exhibition in mind for a long time, the Rouges’ Gallery stuff has rarely been shown. And it really is something else…
GO SEE.
And pick up a book too while you’re there…
