I was just catching up on Steve Bell’s IF-strip, and came across this gem. Superb last frame.

…at his very best in today’s Sunday Times.

I’ve just been sent a copy of Ann Treneman’s latest book, Annus Horribilis – The Worst Year in British Politics.
It’s a collection of her brilliant Parliamentary sketches for The Times from the last year, so that ought to be a good read!

I was lucky enough to do the book jacket for it, and to Gibson Square Publishing’s credit, I was given surprisingly free reins, which made it a pleasure to do.

Good grief…
From the looks of the cartoon on Times online, it seems someone got hold of the cartoon, and in a moment of helpfulness wrecked the levels and messed up the colour balance… I dread to think what the printed version now looks like…

Update: The print version is good. Fortunately only the web version that looks odd.

Am I God’s gift to national and international leadership?

Would it be wrong if I didn’t keep telling everyone that?

One of those days today when I came up with a dozen ways of making this cartoon better only minutes after filing it. Not uncommon of course, but it’s more annoying than usual…
But there you go. Can’t linger.

Eh…

According to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the UK Government is now the most evil of all – which means the US surely will have to relinquish the title “The Great Satan.”

Given what British politicians in general, and the Government in particular, are being called by the public at the moment, I have a feeling Gordon Brown might choose to redact the last word and simply enjoy “The Great.”
